UPDATE: rink set up ON SCHEDULE, so far...

Thanks for checking in everyone! Things are moving right along with our setup process at the rink this season. The plumbing is finished, the chiller is on, and we are almost ready to make ice. This weekend looks like it will be too warm to make ice, so I don't think we will be able to get started with that process until the outside temperature gets closer to the mid 30's overnight, but I am hopeful that we will be under way, making ice by the beginning or middle of next week, after the holiday weekend. At this rate, I am anticipating an opening date of sometime the week of Monday December 5th. Stay tuned for updates! We also hope you join us for our 6th Annul Kendall Square Holiday on Ice, scheduled for Saturday, December 17th. We will be hosting FREE admission for ice skating ALL DAY, and there will be a FREE holiday themed show starting promptly at 2pm. We will also have free refreshments for everyone to enjoy!
