Wednesday, January 28th

Hello Folks, I would first like to Thank the East End House for coming to the rink last night for their private party. It was our pleasure hosting such a great community event. As for today, we will be closed due to the snow removal, and predicted rain this afternoon. I will be sure to update this as soon as we know we will reopen. I am sure we will be open again tomorrow for our normal hours of operation. Thanks for checking in, and we hope you join us on the ice very soon!

Tuesday, January 27th

Hello folks, I hope everyone had a great weekend, and stayed warm. We sure had a great weekend and the rink, and thank you all for coming by and making it so good. We have a schedule change just for today. We will be closing at 6:00pm to the general public tonight, and tonight only. We usually set aside Monday nights for possible closing early, but tonight we are hosting a private party for a group home in Cambridge, the East End House.

East End House strives for excellence in its programs and its innovative and effective programs received numerous accolades including recognition of the Emergency Food Program through the Greater Boston Food Bank's 2007 Partner Agency of the Year award and recognition of our family engagement activities through the Annie E. Casey Foundation and United Neighborhood Centers of America Families Count: Family Strengthening Award. The agency continues to create innovative and essential programs for the children, teens, families, seniors, and individuals in our community.

We are very happy to be hosting a skating event for this great local charity based organization.

Saturday, January 17th

Hello everyone, I hope you are all having a great day. I would just like to tell everyone, that although it is pretty cold today, we are still skating here in Kendall Square. All you have to do is bundle up, make sure you have your New England layers on, and make your way over. I would also like to Say Happy Birthday to Camron, who is our featured skater of the day. He turns 13 today! HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAMRON! So, come on down and join Camron and his family and friends on the ice today and this evening. We close at 9pm tonight, so it's not too late. See you all soon!

Hello folks, well, as I am sure you all know, it is really raining out today, and I have had a chance to see the forecast, and it looks like it isn't going to stop anytime soon. Tomorrow looks like it will be a very nice day, so we hope you join us then. We will unfortunately have to be closed today, due to the weather. Hello everyone, thanks for checking in. I hope everyone had a great holiday and are settling back into your regular schedules comfortably. Aside from the fact that we had a little bit difficult weather this morning, we are open today at the rink. We are open tonight until 8pm because we do not have a private event tonight, so please take advantage of our extended Monday hours for the public. We hope to see you soon, and HAPPY SKATING!

Saturday, January 3rd

Hello everyone, I hope you all had a wonderful New Year. We are still celebrating the new year here in Kendall Square. We are all having so much fun down here, and would love it if you decided to join us. Our ice has never been better, the sun is shining, and it's cold out, but not that cold. I would also like to highlight one of our star skaters for the day, Talia, and she told me she had a great time today on the ice. Come and Join Talia, as well as the rest of us here for little skating tonight. We are open to 9pm tonight, so you still have plenty of time to join in the fun! Take care, and happy new year!
