Tis the Holiday Season.....Hours Of Operation

Hello Everyone! I just want to let you all know our hours of operation around the holidays coming up. We plan to be open Christmas Eve from 12noon to 6pm, we will be closed on Christmas Day, and we will be open again on Sunday the 26th from 11am to 6pm. As for New Years, we will be open both New Years Eve from 12noon to 6pm and New Years Day from 11am to 9pm. We hope you will join us for some skating under the open sky very soon! Kendall Square Holiday On Ice TODAY! Don't Miss it!

Well, the day has arrived, and the holiday cheer is in the air at Kendall Square Community Ice Skating! The day is beautiful, this ice is in GREAT condition, and our skating show is going to be OFF THE HOOK! The first show will start at 2, and the second show at 6pm. Free skating before, in between and after the shows. Free food from Za/EVOO at both shows. Hope to see you there! Happy Skating!

Friday, December 17th, CLOSING EARLY

Hello Everyone, we are only a DAY AWAY from our 5th Annual Kendall Square Holiday on Ice, and we are VERY EXCITED! We will have to close early TONIGHT so our skating performers are able to perfect their jumps and moves for the show tomorrow! We will be closed tonight at 6PM, so we hope to see you before then for some skating, otherwise we hope to see you there tomorrow! Happy Skating!

RINK HOURS UPDATE for Wednesday December 15th

Hello everyone! We will also be closing early tonight at 7:30pm instead of our regular closing time of 8pm so we are able to provide practice time for the skaters performing THIS SATURDAY at 2pm. We will also be having another free show at 6pm as well, so we home you won't miss it. HAPPY SKATING!

1:30pm - FREE Skate ends to prepare for the 1st Skating Show

2pm - FREE holiday show produced by Frozen Frog Productions, FREE food from EVOO/Za, and FREE hot beverages

2:45pm - FREE admission skating resumes

3:30pm - “Random Chants” Carolers to perform

5:30pm - FREE Skate ends to prepare for the 2nd Skating Show

6pm - FREE Kendall Square Holiday on Ice presents local skating talents of all kinds, FREE food by Za/EVOO and FREE hot beverages.

6:45pm - Resume FREE admission skating until close at 9pm

Tuesday, December 14th, 2010 CLOSING EARLY

hello everyone, I just wanted to let you all know that we will be closing early today, Tuesday December 14th 2010. The skaters that will be performing at our 5th Kendall Square Holiday On Ice show need to start practicing, so we will be closed at 7:30pm this evening instead of 8pm. Opening TODAY!!!! Wednesday, December 8th

Hello Everyone, well, all of your patience has paid off, and we appreciate it SO much. We will in fact be open at 12 noon today, and stay open until 8pm tonight. Our daily hours of operation can be found on our website at kendallsquare.org. Don't forget to stop by and purchase your Anytime or Lunchtime season pass if you plan on skating with us throughout the skating season! Wednesday, December 8th PROBABLE opening

Hey, just checking in everyone! Things are looking pretty good over here at Kendall Square Community Ice Skating! The cold weather has really helped us out over the past couple of evenings for making ice, and unless something major happens between now and Wednesday the 8th, we should be open for business on Wednesday. I will be sure to let everyone know if that changes, but it's looking pretty good right now, so get those skates out of storage, and stay tuned for a definite opening day. Happy Skating everyone!

We have officially started making ice

Hello everyone! We have officially started the chiller and mother nature has blessed us with a rainy evening, which is great, because she is making ice for us. Lets just hope that she keeps it up all night long! Stay tuned for possible opening date.
