Thursday, February 26th

Hello everyone, I hope you all have been enjoying the skating rink this season! We have really enjoyed all the old faces, as well as the new ones just the same. In case any of you are wondering, we are experiencing technical difficulties with our website. We are trying very hard to get it fixed, however I do not know how long it will take for that to happen. If you have any questions, or need any assistance at all, please feel free to call the rink at 617-492-0941, and anyone who answers would be happy to help you any way they can.

If you are trying to get directions to get to the rink, you can follow the directions on this link: http://www.paddleboston.com/skating2/directions.php

Thanks again for your patience, and we hope to see you at the rink for a skate real soon! HAPPY SKATING!

We are now open for business. Hope to see you soon.
Friday 13, 2009. 1 pm.

The warm weather yesterday caused a lot of our surface to melt away. Therefore, we will not be able to open today, february 13, until further notice. We must lay down some more water on the rink before it is safe enough for skating. When there is enough water down this message will be changed immediately and we will be open for business. This might occur sometime this afternoon, friday 13, 2009. Please check our blog again before heading over. Thank you.

Tuesday, February 3rd

Hello Folks, I am sure you are all wondering whether we will be open or not, due to the snow. Well, we are going to be open just as long as we can be, depending on speed of accumulation. If the snow starts to collect too quickly and we need to keep the Zamboni on the ice for the whole time, we will have to close, but as of now, we are looking ok. we can have 30 minute breaks between Zamboni runs, and the snow accumulation isn't too fast yet. If you are wondering about lessons tonight, they should be happening as scheduled, but if we do close the rink, I will be calling everyone at least 2 hours before the class is suppose to start, if not sooner. Thanks again for checking in, and I hope to see you all for some skating in the snow today!
