Thursday, January 27th 2011 WE'RE OPEN!!!

Hello everyone! Although we had a really snowy night and morning in the Boston and Cambridge area last night, Its a beautiful day for ice skating under the open CLEAR skies today! We plan on being open for our normal business hours today(12pm to 8pm), so we hope to see you soon! Happy Skating!

Saturday January 22nd and Sunday, January 23rd

Hello folks, I hope everyone is staying warm on this extremely cold but beautiful January weekend in the Boston area. We are suited up and ready for a great weekend of ice skating under the open sky in Kendall Square, and we hope that you put on all your layers and remember to bring your very best gloves, mittens, hats, and scarves and join us for some ice skating this weekend. Friday, January 22nd, OPEN FOR BUSINESS

Hello Folks, thanks for checking in. We are planning on opening for our regular hours today, 12 noon to 9pm. All scheduled classes and events will be happening as scheduled today. Wednesday, January 19th WE'RE OPEN

Well, everything looks great for re-opening today after yesterday's nasty mix of precipitation. We will be open today from 12 noon to 8pm, so we hope you join us on the ice. We are also very excited to be hosting the Martin Luther King Jr. School today from 3:30pm to 5. Feel free to come down to the rink anytime today for some ice skating. It looks like we might get some decorative snow flurries, which is what I love so much about an outdoor ice skating rink. Bring your boyfriend, or girlfriend, husband or wife, or just a group of good friends for a memorable ice skating experience while the snow falls from the open sky. We hope to see you soon!

SNOW DAY today Tuesday, January 18th CLOSED DUE TO SNOWY AND RAINY WEATHER

Hello Everyone! I hope you are all staying in on this snowy/rainy day. It's a MESS out there! We are going to have to be closed today Tuesday, Jan 18th due to the snowy weather. The Zamboni is going to have to stay on the ice until the snow and rain stops, so there's really no time in between for skating. We do pl...an on reopening tomorrow for regular hours 12 noon to 8pm. Thursday, Jan 13th, BACK OPEN FOR BUSINESS!

As you can see in our picture taken just moments ago, our ice couldn't be in better condition this morning, so we will be back open for business starting at our normal 12 noon to 8pm today. I would like to give a huge shout out to Jim and Jason for making today's opening possible with their many over night hours at the rink to keep the ice clear of snow throughout the entire storm. Nice work fellas! We hope to see you soon to take advantage of the beautiful ice and the spectacular views of the fresh fallen snow on our beautifully lit trees.

Well, we have been working very hard throughout the night trying to keep the snow off the ice, and we are continuing those efforts all day today, so unfortunately we will NOT be able to be open for business today, Wednesday January 12th. We are fairly certain that everything will be all set and we will be able to open tomorrow for our regular business hours 12 noon to 8pm. Saturday, January 8th, we're OPEN, so come on down...

Hello Everyone! I am just here to report that even though the snow men in Kendall Square don't seem to know how to skate, we are VERY excited for a winter wonderland day here in Kendall Square Community Ice Skating. We see no reason we will have to close due to the snow predictions for today. Of course, if that changes, I will be sure to let you all know, but as of now, we are scheduled to be open today from 11am to 9pm, so we hope to see you here! take care, and Happy Skating under the open snowy sky.
